International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts

The International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts is pleased to announce the 2008 recipient of the Jamie Bishop Memorial Award for an Essay Not in English is Professor María Beatriz Cóceres for her award-winning essay “Poéticas del multireal: extrañamiento del motivo del doble en los cuentos de Julio Cortázar y Dino Buzzati” (“Poetics of the Multireal: Estrangement of the Double Motif in the Short Fiction of Julio Cortázar and Dino Buzzati”).
