Published scholarly articles in the Journal of the Fantastic in the Arts<\/em> undergo a rigorous peer review process based on editor assessment combined with anonymized peer review. The JFA<\/em> is committed to providing each submission with a fair evaluation of its merits in consideration for publication.  In addition to internal editorial review of article submissions, each work of scholarly analysis is subjected to double-anonymized external review.  The JFA<\/em> is committed to expanding its base of blind reviewers to reflect the diverse specializations of academic authors studying the fantastic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While think pieces by creatives invited to write for the JFA<\/em> do not undergo the double-anonymized external review of scholarly submissions, each creative think piece is subject to careful evaluation by members of the JFA<\/em> Editorial Collective before the draft is accepted for publication.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n
